Kayla Wright Whited and Scott Bell, both of Crittenden County, announce their engagement.

Ms. Whited is the daughter of Kim Mitchell and Bill Burnett of West Paducah, and Jimmy and Toni Wright of Salem. She is the granddaughter of Jewleen Atwood of Marion and the late Billy Wright, and the late Dorthy and Marvin Mitchell. She is a 2001 graduate of Livingston Central High School and is pursuing a degree in nursing from West Kentucky Community & Technical College.

Mr. Bell is the son of Kenny and Sandi Bell of Marion. He is the grandson of Wade and Susie Buntin of Sheridan, and Louis and Amy Bell of Marion. He is a 2001 graduate of Crittenden County High School and is employed at Lafarge, North America.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at noon Sept. 29 at Patti’s 1880’s Settlement in the outside gazebo. All friends and relatives are invited.
