Mr. Wesley Holland, 52, of Paducah, passed away Friday morning, September 14, 2012, at his residence.

The family celebrated Wesley’s life with private services. King’s Funeral Home and Funeral Director Bobby Reed assisted the family and were in charge of all arrangements.

Wesley was born on November 14, 1959, in Paducah. He was the son of the late John and Elta (Reed) Holland. He worked as a deckhand for Ingram Barge Company for over nineteen years. He enjoyed fishing as well as playing video games and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by two sons, Chad Holland of Gary, Ind., and Jeffery Holland of Gary, Ind.; daughter, Jennifer (Joe) Franklin of Paducah; brother, Wendell Holland of Hobart, Ind.; four sisters, Tracy Ann Holland of Paducah, Murlene (Rick) Picka of Aurora, Vanessa Hornak of Paducah, and Omega (Ed) Lazer of Lake Station, Ind; three grandchildren, Joe Jr., Justin, and Alexis; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
