BENTON — Mr. and Mrs. Weldon Tyree of Benton will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 1 to 3 p.m. today at Briensburg Church of Christ. All friends and relatives are invited. The couple request no gifts, but welcome cards.

Mr. Tyree and the former Mickey Wyatt were married Feb. 4, 1963, in Metropolis, Ill.

Mrs. Tyree is the daughter of the late Solon and Lilah Mae Wyatt.

Mr. Tyree is retired from the B.F. Goodrich Chemical Co. in Calvert City. He is the son of the late Clint and Lorene Tyree.

They have two children: Melisa Baker and Steve Tyree, both of Benton; and four granddaughters.
