Loraine Giles of La Center announces the engagement of her daughter, Holley Watson, to Ben S. Thompson, son of Terry Thompson of Kevil and Donna Lefevre of Mayfield.
Miss Watson is also the daughter of the late Mark Watson. She is the granddaughter of Ronald Giles of La Center, the late Yolanda Giles, and Earl and Frances Watson of La Center. She is a 2006 graduate of Ballard Memorial High School and earned a degree in surgical technology from West Kentucky Community & Technical College in 2008. She is employed by Western Baptist Hospital.
Mr. Thompson is the grandson of the late Patsy Lefevre and the late Merle Lefevre. He is a 2000 graduate of Heath High School and earned a welding certification from West Kentucky Community & Technical College. He is employed as a maintenance mechanic for Lata in Kevil.
An April 23 wedding is planned in Destin, Fla.
