Wallace R. Moyers, 73, of Paducah died at 10:05 p.m., March 14, 2013, at Lourdes hospital.

He was a native of Grahamville. He was a self-employed excavator and an Army veteran.

Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Beverly Adams Moyers; one son, Greg Moyers and wife Michelle of Paducah; and a brother, Joe Moyers and wife Reba of Iuka, Miss.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Moyers and Nellie Wood Moyers; his twin sister, Wila Fay Moyers; two brothers, Larry Allen Moyers and Kenneth Wayne Moyers, and a grandchild, Sarah Danielle Moyers.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, at Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeremy Beggs officiating.

Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with military honors. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
