The Rev. Rick and Donna Walker of Fulton announce the engagement of their daughter, Darla June Walker, to Matthew David Edwards, son of the Rev. David and Janet Edwards of Mayfield.

Miss Walker is the granddaughter of Jimmy and Louise Walker of Fulton, and Aubrey Burkeen Jr. of Mayfield and the late Willie Mae Burkeen. She is a 2010 graduate of Graves County High School.

Mr. Edwards is the grandson of Ray and Ruth Edwards of Mayfield and the late Teddy and Mary Thorpe. He is a 2010 graduate of Graves County High School and is employed as an apprentice lineman for William E. Groves Construction in Madisonville.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 4 p.m. Oct. 1 at Sedalia Baptist Church in Sedalia. All friends and relatives are invited.
