Mr. and Mrs. Sylvanus “Sonny” Ridgeway of Paducah recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Mr. Ridgeway and the former Vivian Freeman were married Jan. 7, 1963, in Paducah.

Mrs. Ridgeway is retired from Easter Seals West Kentucky. She is the daughter of the late Charlie and Mary F. Freeman.

Mr. Ridgeway is the owner and operator of Sonny Ridgeway Construction Company Inc. He is the son of the late Sylvester and Nellie M. Ridgeway.

They have two children: Anthony Ridgeway of Lexington and Dr. Lori L. Ridgeway of Milford, Ohio; and one granddaughter.
