Viola Pearl Moore, 97, of Fulton, formerly of Paducah, died at 8:10 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Haws Memorial Nursing and Rehab Center in Fulton.
She was a native of Puryear, Tenn., and worked as a seamstress for both Merit and Henry I. Siegel clothing companies. She was a member of Gospel Assembly Church in Paducah.
She is survived by one daughter, Blondell Sadler of South Fulton, Tenn.; two sons, Thurman Glynn Goodwin of Fulton and Frankie Laine Moore of Paducah; several stepchildren; two brothers, Nelson Duane Hill of Hickman and Billy Joe Hill of Draffenville; one sister, Frances Odom of Paducah; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren, and several stepgrandchildren, stepgreat-grandchildren and stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Thurman H. Goodwin; her second husband, Albert Lee Moore; three brothers, and three sisters. Her parents were Lynn L. Hill and Bessie Lee Grubbs Hill.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013, at the Gospel Assembly Church in Paducah with the Rev. Encil Edmonds and the Rev. Mike Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Wesley Cemetery in Fulton.
Visitation will be at the church in Paducah from 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013, until the funeral hour.
