SYMSONIA — Toy Barkley Thompson, 83, of Symsonia died at 9 a.m. Tuesday at his home.
He was a farmer and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by one niece, Rhonda Woods of Clinton Township, Mich.; one nephew, Don Thompson of Holland, Mich.; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Burnett Thompson; and one brother; his parents were Rector Thompson and Nola Lyles Thompson.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Symsonia Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Daryl Thorn officiating.
There will be no visitation. Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home & Crematory in Benton is in charge of arrangements.
