BARLOW — Thomas Earl Stough, 70, of Barlow, died at 12:40 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2013, at Lourdes hospital.
He was a member of Gum Corner Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran, earning medals as an expert and sharpshooter (rifle M-14), Good Conduct medal, and Vietnam Service medal. He worked for over 40 years as a union laborer and was a member of Local 1214 Laborers International Union of North America. He was also a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion of Paducah.
He is survived by one son, Eric L Stough of Union City, Tenn., and one brother.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Jennings Stough, and one brother. His parents were Cecil R. and Ora (Crews) Stough.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 8, 2013, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe with the Rev. Glen Crowe officiating. Burial will follow at Barlow Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 2013, at the funeral home.
