MURRAY — Thomas Dale Smotherman, 27, of Murray died Tuesday at his home.

He was an employee of Murray State University and was a member of New Concord Church of Christ.

He is survived by his mother, Susan Smotherman; his father, Terry Smotherman; maternal grandparents, Charles and Donna Henry; paternal grandparents, Bill and Mary Smotherman, all of Murray.

He was preceded in death by one brother.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hicks Cemetery.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
