CYPRESS, Ill. — Thelma Farris Norris, 100, of Cypress died at 6:52 p.m. Sunday at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Metropolis.
She was a member of Belknap Pentecostal Church and was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Ruth Collier of Anna, Brenda Goines of Grand Chain and Janie Goines of Metropolis; three sons, Glen Norris of Tiptonville, Tenn., Donnie Norris of Cypress and Darrell Norris of Salem; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Norris; four sons, Kenneth Norris, Dennis Norris, Autry Norris and Terry Norris; and two grandchildren. Her parents were Joseph and Savanah Colburn Farris.
Services will be at noon Wednesday at Belknap Pentcostal Church with the Rev. Kenneth Capps officiating. Interment will be in the Masonic Cemetery in Cypress. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak is in charge of arrangements.
