VIENNA, Ill. — Terry Dale Mullins, 65, of Vienna died at 6:37 a.m. Saturday at his home.

A U.S. Air Force veteran, he served as a medical specialist, flew rescue evacuations of patients and was director of diagnostics and therapeutics at Marion VA Medical Center. He was the former president of the Vienna High School Board of Education.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Mullins of Vienna; his mother, Olive Mullins Lucas of Staunton, Va.; three daughters, Terrah Mullins of Vienna, Hayleigh Mullins of Bath, Maine, and Katelynn Mullins of Agana Heights, Guam; three sons, John Hill of Ozark, Rodney Davis of Goreville and Troy Davis of Vienna; a sister, Cathy Brumfield of Harts, W.Va.; two brothers, James Mullins of Carrollton, Ohio, and Johnny Lucas of Anamosa, Iowa; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Mullins; his stepfather, Pershing Lucas; and a brother.

Services will be at 6 p.m. today at Vienna City Park with military honors. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the park. Bailey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
