Terry Lee Bolton, 67, of Paducah, passed away at 10:39 a.m. Wednesday morning, February 20, 2013, at Baptist Health Paducah.

He was born September 12, 1945, to Vadeous and Jaunita Bolton in Paducah.

Terry was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Vietnam war as an engine-man. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with one Bronze Star, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal with Devise, Navy Achievement Medal and Combat “V”. He was employed as a machinist for forty-seven years with Illinois Central Gulf Railroad. He enjoyed fishing, spending time at his cabin on Kentucky Lake and the companionship of his pet Labrador retriever, Max.

He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Sharon Kay Dowdy Bolton; and son, Terry Lee Bolton Jr., both of Paducah; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vadeous and Jaunita Price Bolton; and his brother, Vadeous D. Bolton Jr.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 23, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Burial with military honors will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Rev. Earl Dickerson will officiate.

Visitation for Mr. Bolton will begin Saturday, February 23, 2013, at 11:00 until funeral service time at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
