BENTON — Silas Avry Melton, newborn son of Jeffrey Melton and Leah Reinke of Benton, died at 11:24 p.m. Monday at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Richard Melton of Benton, Melissa Craig Barefield of Savannah, Ga., Steve Reinke of Detroit, and Lucy Borders of Benton.

Arrangements were incomplete at Collier Funeral Home.
