FANCY FARM — Shirley Ann Burkett, 86, of Fancy Farm died at 8:20 a.m. Thursday at her daughter’s home in Woodstock, Ga.

She was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Fancy Farm and retired from Community Hospital.

She is survived by two daughters, Judy Thomas of Fancy Farm and Patricia Wallace of Woodstock; one stepson, John Burkett of Casper, Wyo.; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Burkett; and 11 brothers and sisters. Her parents were Ira and Anna McGoldrick Anez.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Jerome Catholic Church with Darrell Venters officiating. Burial will follow in St. Jerome Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Sunday at the church, where prayers will be said at 7 p.m.
