BENTON — Shelley Suzann Hicks and Justin Tyler McGregor were united in marriage Oct. 15 at New Harmony Baptist Church in Benton with Dr. Willis Henson officiating. Music was provided by Ginger Boatright of Benton, pianist.

The bride is the daughter of Todd and Shane Hicks of Paducah. The groom is the son of Terry and Vicki McGregor of Benton.

The bride chose Miss Adrianne Tucker of Paducah as her maid of honor and Mrs. Molly English of Metropolis, Ill., as her matron of honor. Miss Ashley Yancy of Fredonia served as bridesmaid. Miss Karsen Eubanks, daughter of Mark and Molly Eubanks of Benton, served as flower girl. Ringbearer was Brenden Simons, son of Steven and Jessica Simons of Reidland.

The groom chose Andrew Donohoo of Benton as his best man. Groomsmen were Dr. Jonathan McGregor of Paducah, brother of the groom, and Donnie Heath of Calvert City. Serving as ushers were Bryan Blevins of Gilbertsville and Matthew Crouse of Benton.

A reception followed in Madison Hall in Paducah. Hayden Eubanks of Benton attended the guest register.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Lone Oak High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry in 2010 from Murray State University. She is employed by West Towne Pharmacy in Paducah.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Marshall County High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health in 2008 and a master’s degree in safety management in 2009, both from Murray State University. He is employed by United Barge Line in Metropolis, Ill.

They reside in Lone Oak.
