OZARK, Ill. — Sheilah N. Simmons, 69, of Ozark died at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at her home.
She was a nurse at Harrisburg Medical Center and Carrier Mills Nursing Home and a member of Carrier Mills Tabernacle Church, where she had taught children’s Sunday school.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Simmons; her father, Dallas Hotzclaw of Evansville, Ind.; her children, Simi Poe of Ozark and Jamie Simmons of Vienna; and her brothers and sisters, Jimmy Walker of Evansville, Jan Kellow of Perry, Fla., Tommy Walker of McAllen, Texas, Mark Walker of Wichita, Kans., Jeri Ritchey of Tulsa, Okla. and Carla Jukes of Evansville.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Leona Walker, and an infant brother.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Carrier Mills Tabernacle Church. Burial will be on the Simmons Family Farm near Ozark. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the church. Bailey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
