DAYTON, Ohio — McGhee, Ruby Dell, age 65, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away August 6, 2012. She was born July 3, 1947, in Paducah, KY. She was preceded in death by her birth parents, Thomas and Vera Glisson, and her adoptive parents, Archie and Elizabeth “Betty” Emerson.

Ruby is survived by her husband, Ronnie McGhee; children, Angela Griggs, Mike (Marsha) Forrester, and Rhonda Jo (Jason) Madewell; stepchildren, DeWayne McGhee, Deborah McGhee, and Darren McGhee; grandchildren, Amber, Bud (Haley), Kelly, Haley, and Joshua; one great-grandson, Jordan; several stepgrandchildren; siblings, Jimmy Riley, Betty Matheny, James Riley, Sue Wallace, Wayne Glisson, Charles Glisson, Patricia Greenup, and Roy Glisson; many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2012, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio, where the family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service, from 2:00-4:00 p.m.
