BENTON — Ruby Pearl “Granny Ruby” Jones, 94, of Benton, Ky., passed away at 9:15 a.m. Saturday, October 6, 2012 at her home near Aurora.

She was a member of Union Ridge Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by two daughters, Marcia Henson and Joan Henson both of Benton, Ky.; six grandchildren, Kathy Fennel, Karen Haney, Michael Henson, Rebecca Morefield and Tonya Johnson, all of Benton, Ky., and Danny Henson of Hardin, Ky.; twenty one great-grandchildren; and eleven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Jones; one daughter, Norma Kay Freeman; three sisters, Ruth Lee, Ludie Mathis and Lydia Ethel Letson; one brother, Luther Inman;  and her parents, Zodie Edgar Inman and Julia Etta McNeely Inman.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 8, 2012 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home. Bro. George Culp and Bro. Bob Click will officiate and burial will follow in the Union Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be, Daniel Fennel, William Haney, Walter Haney, Eric Henson, Chad Henson, Nathan Henson, Chris Johnson, and Brent Johnson.
