William Ronald “Ronnie” Potter, 63, of Paducah, formerly of Elkton, Ky., passed away April 11, 2013, at Lourdes hospital.
He was born September 3, 1949, in Warren County, Kentucky, to William Adrian “Bill” Potter and Elizabeth Louise Kinser Potter. Ronnie served in the United States Army and was a supporter of the POW organization. He was employed as a truck driver for 39 years, the last 17 years for Wal-Mart. Ronnie was a very active member of Fellowship Church of Christ in Russellville and also a supporter of Miracle Network for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Helen Parker Potter; two daughters, Laura Potter of Nashville and Heather Anderson and husband Todd of Paducah; his mother, Elizabeth Louise Kinser Potter of Elkton; two grandchildren, Lane and Potter Anderson, and one sister, Ann Mosier of Russellville.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Adrian “Bill” Potter.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, April 21, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Todd County Funeral Home in Elkton, Ky. Danny Williams will officiate. A private burial will be held at Meadow Haven Cemetery. Memorial visitation will be held from 1:30-3 p.m. Sunday at the Todd County Funeral Home.
