Robert B. Skinner, 83, of Paducah died at 2:15 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2012, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
Mr. Skinner graduated from Reidland High School in 1947. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War. He was the founder and owner of Skinner School and Office Supply in Memphis, Tenn., and was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Sue Wooley Skinner; a daughter, Cynthia Ann Skinner Mahon of Eads, Tenn.; a grandson, Jeremy David Mahon; a great-grandson; and a sister, Betty Lee Massey of Benton.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Wayne Skinner, and a brother.
His parents were Melvin B. and Betty Barker Skinner.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. today, December 27, 2012, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Revs. Larry Davidson and Leland Hayden officiating.
Friends may call at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home. A private graveside service will be held later at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
