MAYFIELD — Robert Farmer, 68, of Mayfield died at 10:44 a.m. Wednesday at Jackson Purchase Medical Center.
He was a member of Farmington Baptist Church, a retired farmer, and retired from the Graves County Road Department.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Shupe Farmer; one daughter, Kimberly Ann Mathis of Mayfield; two sons, Kyle Alton Farmer of Deerfield Beach, Fla., and Robert Kacey Farmer of Mayfield; one stepson, Timothy Dean Colley of Cordon, Iowa; one sister, Lenida Mathis of Mayfield; one brother, Donald Gene Farmer of Mayfield; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren, and four stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Coy James and Jessie Lee Farmer.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with the Rev. Ben Stratton officiating. Burial will follow in Farmington Cemetery.
