Rhonda Faye Phillips Kindred, 41, of Paducah, departed this life September 6, 2012, and is now at home with Jesus. Rhonda was born September 25, 1970. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was a very kind and loving person and will be forever missed.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 9, 2012, at Brookport Funeral Home in Brookport, Ill., with the Rev. Chris Sielbeck officiating. Burial will follow at Pell Cemetery.
Rhonda is survived by her husband of 22 years, Terry Robin Kindred; their son, Cory Justin Kindred and his fianceé Caitlin Brooke Rudolph of Paducah; her grandparents that raised her, Roy W. “Buddy” Kennedy and Hedy F. Kennedy of Brookport, Ill.; her father, David Phillips; her mother, Evelyn Crowe and husband Mickey; two sisters, Toni Phillips and Janet Crowe; and one brother, Cabron Crowe.
She is preceded in death by her uncle, Rev. Bill Cox.
Rhonda met the Lord at age seven at First Baptist Church in Brookport. She and her family currently attended 7 Mile Baptist Church in Metropolis. Rhonda graduated from Massac County High School and was employed by Lourdes hospital.
Rhonda loved reading, watching movies and had a passion for animals. She was the former owner and operator of Doggie Daycare in Paducah.
Rhonda loved camping with her family at Hillman Ferry Campground and taking trips to the Smoky Mountains.
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 9, 2012, from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at Brookport Funeral Home.
