McKENZIE, Tenn. — The Rev. and Mrs. Joe Eaton of McKenzie, formerly of Brookport, Ill., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Temple Baptist Church, 9105 E. Van Hook St., in Milan, Tenn. All friends and relatives are invited. The couple requests no gifts, but cards are welcome.
Mr. Eaton and the former Judith Kay Bulla were married Feb. 10, 1961, at Lovington Missionary Baptist Church in Lovington, Ill., by the Rev. Raymond Bulla, father of the bride. Their attendants were Phillip Bulla and Janice Scott Bulla.
Mrs. Eaton is the daughter of the late Rev. Raymond and Cleo Bulla. Mr. Eaton is a minister, counselor and teacher for the State of Tennessee Corrections Department. He is also a carpenter and the son of the late Rev. Sam and Olene Eaton.
They are the parents of Tim Eaton, Sonya Eaton Neisler and Raymond Eaton, all of McKenzie; and Teri Eaton Neely of Brookport. They have 11 grandchildren, one deceased grandchild and one great-grandchild.
