HARDIN — The Rev. and Mrs. Dewey M. Dick of Hardin will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a lunch and reception hosted by their children and grandchildren from 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 13 at Cherokee State Park, 974 Cherokee Lane, Aurora. All friends and relatives are invited. The couple request no gifts.

Mr. Dick and the former Jerlyine McKendree were married Nov. 18, 1961, at Cherry Corner Baptist Church in Murray by the Rev. R.J. Burpoe. Their attendants were Rob Dick and Merlyine McKendree Henderson.

Mrs. Dick is the daughter of the late Brady and Vena McKendree. Mr. Dick is the son of the late Ellis and Veopal Dick.

Mr. Dick is the pastor of Aurora Baptist Church in Aurora and has served churches in Kentucky and Indiana for 34 years. Mr. and Mrs. Dick also served as missionaries in Europe for three years.

They have two sons: Marty Dick and Todd Dick, both of Murray; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
