Tom and Kathy Read of Cadiz announce the engagement of their daughter, Tiffany Ann Read, to Eric Lane DeHart, son of John and Janet DeHart of Reidland.

Miss Read is a 1999 graduate of Webberville High School in Webberville, Mich. She is a 2002 graduate of The Rockford Masters Commission in Rockford, Ill., and a 2010 graduate of The Art Institute of Michigan with a certificate in baking and pastry arts. She is employed by Artisan Kitchen in Paducah.

Mr. DeHart is a 1999 graduate of Reidland High School and a 2009 graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, Calif. He is self-employed.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. Oct. 15 at First Baptist Church of Paducah.
