Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Baucum of Paducah celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday.

Mr. Baucum and the former Mary Belle Wheatley were married Sept. 13, 1952, in Corinth, Miss., by J.E. Gray, justice of the peace. Their attendants were Ann McClure and Brooks Baucum, brother of the groom.

Mrs. Baucum is the daughter of the late Clois and Mavis Wheatley. She is a retired teacher’s aide at Victory Christian Academy.

Mr. Baucum is the son of the late Wallace and Parrie Baucum. He is a lifetime member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 184.

They have three children: Tammie Dublin, Rhonda Harper and Johnny Baucum, all of Paducah; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
