Misty Jo Phipps and Steven Michael Hines will be united in marriage at 6 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Fulton. All friends and relatives are invited to the ceremony and reception following at Pontotoc Community Center. Only out-of-town invitations have been sent.

Miss Phipps is the daughter of Billy Joe “Peewee” Phipps of Union City, Tenn., and Ms. Sheila Phipps of Fulton. She is the granddaughter of Wanda Harrison of Fulton and the late Thomas Harrison, and Mary Nell Phipps of Union City, Tenn., and the late Robert Phipps. She is a 1997 graduate of Fulton High School in Fulton and a 2002 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a bachelor’s degree in economics. She is an alumna of Zeta Tau Alpha fraternity and is employed as a financial analyst with Midwest-CBK in Union City.

Mr. Hines is the grandson of the late D.F. “Pete” and Ella Mae Joyce, and the late Kimmey and Janette Hines. He is a 1997 graduate of Reidland High School and is employed as a locomotive mechanic with Progress Rail Services in Mayfield.
