Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Perdue of Eddyville announce the engagement of their daughter, Jana Kirsten Perdue, to Matthew Clay Scoggins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Scoggins of Mayfield.

Miss Perdue is the granddaughter of Janice Large of Ashland and the late Jess Large, and Terry Perdue of Huntington, W.Va., and the late Frances Perdue. She is a 2007 graduate of Lyon County sports_high_school in Eddyville and is pursuing a degree in nutrition from the University of Kentucky. She is employed by St. Joseph East Hospital in Lexington.

Mr. Scoggins is the grandson of Ray and Beverly Bailey of Boaz, and J.E. and Sue Scoggins of Hickory. He is a 2007 graduate of Graves County sports_high_school in Mayfield and is employed by PACS NOW in Lexington.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. June 4 at Trace Creek Baptist Church in Mayfield. All friends and relatives are invited. Only out-of-town invitations are being sent.
