PILOT OAK — Peggy Ann Perdun, 76, of the Pilot Oak community, formerly of New Jersey, died Saturday, August 31, 2013, at her home.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Fulton Congregation and was a retired sales clerk, having worked for Macy’s Department Store in New Jersey.
She is survived by a daughter, Michele Otto of Mayfield; two sons, Howard (Buddy) Perdun III of Clayton, N.C., and Dean William Perdun of Milltown, N.J.; three sisters, Pidge Smith of Escondido, Calif., Sally Boekhout of Pilot Oak, and Glenn Childs of Charlotte Courthouse, Va.; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard LeRoy Perdun Jr.; two sons; one daughter; and one brother. Her parents were Kenneth Earl and Margaret Ellen (Hartshorn) Costlow.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness Church in Fulton, Ky.
