Amanda Mae Payne and Charles Bryan VanHooser will be united in marriage at noon Saturday at 2337 East Second St., in Grand Chain, Ill. All friends and relatives are invited. Only out-of-town invitations have been sent. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held at Grand Chain Elementary School gymnasium.

Miss Payne is the daughter of Troy Payne of Paducah and Tonya and Tim Wiseman of Metropolis, Ill. She is the granddaughter of Emma Greer of West Vienna, Ill., Philip and Vanita Corzine of Karnak, Ill., Shirley Harrell of Paducah and the late Burlin Payne. She is the great-granddaughter of Clara Botarf of Pinckneyville, Ill., and Velma Corzine of Karnak. She is a 2010 graduate of Massac County sports_high_school and is employed at Quiznos in Metropolis, Ill.

Mr. VanHooser is the son of Clarence and Barbara VanHooser of Grand Chain, Ill. He is the grandson of Gladys Stokes of Grand Chain and the late Kenneth Stokes, and the late Clifford and Marie VanHooser. He is a 1996 graduate of West Kentucky Vocational School and is employed by Dippin’ Dots in Paducah.
