MAYFIELD — Memorial services for Paul Lynn Speed, 52, of Mayfield will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at New Home Baptist Church with the Rev. C.W. Jackson officiating.

Mr. Speed died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at his home.

He was a chief engineer for Seacor Barge Co.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby “Louie” Speed of Paducah; one daughter, Amanda Kay Bellavia of Portland, Tenn.; two brothers, Roger Speed of Mayfield and Chester Minton of Paducah; one sister, Theresa K. Speed of Mayfield, and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one grandson. His parents were Henry and Evelyn Owens Speed.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to New Home Baptist Church.

There will be no visitation. Brown Funeral Home of Mayfield is in charge of arrangements.
