Paul Edward Piet, 60, of Corydon, Ind., died Friday, March 15, 2013, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, Ind.

He was born in Detroit, Mich. August 19, 1952, the son of Edward and Jean Hicks Piet.

He was an employee of the State of Kentucky as a counselor.

He is survived by his wife, Trinita Timberlake Piet of Corydon; two brothers, Barry Korth of Clinton and Eddie Piet of Festus, Mo.; and one sister, Tammy Puckett (Tim) of Cunningham, Ky.

Funeral services will be held at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon Monday, March 18, 2013, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Andy Hanson officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation was held Saturday, March 16, 2013, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will be held again from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2013, and after 9 a.m. Monday until service time at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorial gifts be made to: American Spinal Cord Association, Lesley M. Hudson, M.A., Executive Director, ASIA/Shepherd Center, 2020 Peachtree Rd. NW, Atlanta, Georgia 30307.

Pallbearers will be: Brett Stillwell, Jason, Ron, Jeff, Doug and Yogi Timberlake, Edgar Bates and Jacob Puckett.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Tim and John Puckett.
