Patrice Diane Baumgardner, 57, of Paducah, Kentucky, died on Friday, November 16, 2012, ending her brave, lifelong struggle with heart disease.

Patti was a terrific friend with a quick wit, always ready to lend a helping hand, who especially loved caring for children.

She was a loving mother to Patrick James Baumgardner, who passed earlier this year.

She was predeceased by her father, Patrick McLaughlin, and will be deeply missed by her mother, Marjorie McLaughlin of Port Hope, Ontario, and her family (Paul, Marybeth, Megan, Tracy, Jamie, Kelly, Lynn, Sean, and Heather).

In the words of Van Dyke, “And just at the moment when someone at my side says ‘There, she is gone!’ There are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices ready to take up the glad shout: ‘Here she comes!’”
