BENTON — Mr. and Mrs. Mike Brunn of Benton celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently with a reception hosted by their children at Goshen United Methodist Church in Murray.

Mr. Brunn and the former Marilyn Patricia Flowers were married Dec. 2, 1961, by the Rev. John Stavely at Reidland United Methodist Church. Their attendants were Beverly Nicholson and John Hartig.

Mrs. Brunn is retired from the lab at Murray-Calloway County Hospital. She is the daughter of Katherine Flowers of Reidland and the late James Flowers.

Mr. Brunn is retired from ISP Chemicals in Calvert City. He is the son of the late Michael and Susanna Brunn.

They have two sons: Christopher Brunn and Michael Brunn, both of Murray; and three grandchildren.
