BENTON — Ovid Frank Littlejohn, 93, of Benton died Tuesday at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.

He retired from General Tire, where he worked in maintenance, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Zion’s Cause Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth K. Downing Littlejohn; two daughters, Shirley Hargrove of Burna and Dorothy Sullivan of Paducah; one brother, Ed Littlejohn of Benton; three sisters, Vada Gilbert of Benton, Peggy Belcaster of Park Ridge, Ill., and Syble Poindexter of Paducah; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. His parents were Calvin Littlejohn and Mary Ann Lane Littlejohn.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Collier Funeral Home with the Revs. Charles Frazier and Earl Cathy officiating. Interment with military rites will follow at Marshall County Memory Gardens in Benton.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
