MAYFIELD — Mr. and Mrs. Otis Elliott Jr. of Mayfield celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends on June 3.

Mr. Elliott and the former Judith Johnson were married June 8, 1962, at First Christian Church in Metropolis, Ill., by Alec John Lanford, minister. Their attendants were Lara Barton and Joe Paul Shelton.

Mrs. Elliott is a retired office worker for Mayfield Manufacturing Co. She is the daughter of the late Garvin A. and Nell Hicks Johnson.

Mr. Elliott is an electrician retired from Continental Tire. He is the son of the late Otis D. and Miskel Lewis Elliott Sr.

They have two children: Michael Elliott and Steven Elliott, both of Graves County; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
