GILBERTSVILLE — Nita Christine Plantz, 79, of Gilbertsville, Kentucky, died on Monday, February 25, 2013, at her home in Gilbertsville, Kentucky.
She was a retired Parts Control Technician for Rockwell Itl., and a member of the Bahia Yacht Club in California. Mrs. Plantz was of the Methodist Faith.
Born Thursday, November 16, 1933, in Monford, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Hunt and the late Nina (Berry) Hunt.
Surviving is her husband, Gerald Plantz of Gilbertsville, Ky.; her son, John Vance Coots of Louisville, Ky.; her daughters, Constance Elaine Moss (William) of Bradford, Tenn., and Shirley Ann Raymer of Morgantown, Ky.; her sisters, Maxine Woods of Morgantown, Ky., and Phyllis Moore of Bowling Green, Ky.; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by one sister, Janice Bea Phelps.
A memorial service is scheduled for a later date.
