EDDYVILLE — Services for Muriel Olive Overton, 89, of Eddyville will be at 2 p.m. today, December 29, 2012, at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville with the Rev. Steve McVay officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Hills Cemetery in Eddyville.

Mrs. Overton died Monday, December 24, 2012, at Caldwell County Medical Center in Princeton.

She was a former secretary for Allied Equipment Co. and a former parts clerk for Allis Chalmers Tractor Supply Co., both in Memphis, Tenn. She was a member of Saratoga United Methodist Church in Lyon County.

She is survived by one sister, Norma McNabney of Eddyville; and one niece, Norma Ann Crider of Crestwood.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Lee Overton; and one brother. Her parents were William Duke Glass and Agnes Geneva Holland Glass.
