MAYFIELD — Modean Bennett, 92, of Mayfield died Saturday at Lourdes hospital.

She was a member of Knob Creek Church Of Christ, a homemaker, and retired seamstress from Merit Clothing Company.

She is survived by one son, Jerry Bennett of Hickory; two daughters, Linda Wilson of Paducah and Brenda Howell of Benton; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Bennett; two sisters; three brothers; and two grandchildren. Her parents were Will and Allie Vincent Owens.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Byrn Funeral Home with Steve Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in Pinegar Cemetery.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
