CADIZ — Milton E. Turner, 70, of Keyser, W.Va., formerly of Trigg County, died Thursday at Kline Hospice Center in Mount Airy, Md.
He retired from the U.S. Army, having served 26 years, including during the Vietnam conflict. He retired as a consultant for the health care industry. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was survived by his wife, Margaret Cunningham Turner; his mother, Dorothy Turner of Murray; two sons, Todd Turner of Centerville, Md., and Mark Turner of Waterford, Va.; one sister, Sherry Huddleston of Cadiz, and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Olin Edward Turner.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Goodwin Funeral Home with Jimmy Gentry officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at East End Cemetery in Cadiz.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
