LEXINGTON — Matt Jennings, 49, husband of Ellen Roseberry Jennings, died September 26, 2012.

Born September 8, 1963, in Paducah, Ky., he was the son of Rollie Carlos and Mary Elizabeth Kolb Jennings Jr.

He was a graduate of Woodford County High School and Midway College. He was the owner of Jennings Manufacturing Consultants and a member of Maxwell St. Presbyterian Church.

In addition to his wife and Scout, Callie and Jackson Brown, he is survived by four brothers, Rollie (Judy) Jennings III, Steve (Myra) Jennings, Scott Jennings and Drew (Mary) Jennings; five sisters, Buff (Jim) Schwab, Terri (Dave) Thomas, Karen (Tim) Krimm, Becky Weatherford and Marcia Kolb Jennings; brother and sisters-in-law, Mark (Ann) Roseberry, Jane Roseberry (Richard) Cook and Kim (Don) Heine, Donna Roseberry, Sister Suzanne Rose and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, grand-nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Drs. James Smith and Justin Fraser of the University of Kentucky Neurosurgeon’s Team; Drs. Andrew C. Bernard and Tim Howes of the University of Kentucky Blue Surgery Team and the University of Kentucky Neurology Team; ICU Trauma Nurses, Terri and Danielle and their team, Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates and Gretchen Boje.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, September 29, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Maxwell St. Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Woody Berry officiating. The family requests memorial donations to The Woodford Co. Humane Society or Habitat for Humanity.

Matt believed in living big and loving bigger, he believed in organ donation to continue the gift of life.
