VIENNA, Ill. — Graveside services for Mary Hazel Wood, 91, formerly of Vienna, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Belknap Masonic Cemetery.

Mrs. Wood died at 3:50 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, at Southgate Health Care Center in Metropolis.

She was a former member of the Johnson County Republican Women’s Club and had served on the Senior Citizen’s Advisory Committee for the Shawnee Development Council. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Vienna.

She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Sue Crews of Vienna and Myra Wood-Bennett of the New Columbia community; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by  her husband, Wilburn A. Wood. Her parents were John L. and Yuba H. Beggs Burnam.

There will be no visitation. Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna is in charge of arrangements.
