MURRAY — Mary Belle Geurin Brantley, 86, of Murray died Monday at Skyline Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.

She had worked as a nurse’s assistant and was a member of Elm Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Pam Butler of Murray; one son, Jerry A. Brantley of Murray; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Allen Brantley; one son, Terry F. Brantley; one sister; one brother; and one grandchild.  Her parents were Gus and Lola McDougal Geurin.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with the Rev. Brad Burns officiating. Burial will follow in  Elm Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
