Margaret Coplin Nelson, 65, of Paducah died at 6:38 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Western Baptist Hospital.

She was of the Baptist faith, and was employed for 18 years with the former Executive Inn of Paducah as an environmental technician.

She is survived by her husband, Darnell Nelson; one daughter, Pansy Coplin of Louisville; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Francine Bradford, Ernestine Burns, and Willette Coplin, all of Paducah, and Erma Jean Simmons of Trenton, Tenn.; one brother, Nathan Coplin of Paducah, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers. Her parents were Nathan Coplin and Laura Bell Ivory Coplin.

Services will be at noon Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. James L. Hudson officiating. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the church.
