FULTON — Graveside services for Margaret Meade, 93, of Fulton will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Obion County Memorial Gardens in Union City, Tenn.

Mrs. Meade died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Haws Memorial Nursing and Rehab Facility.

She served in the U.S. Army during World War II doing clerical work and formerly worked for Parkway Regional Hospital for 14 years in the maintenance/housekeeping department. She was a former beautician, a riverboat cook and a licensed practical nurse.

She is survived by her son, David Meade of South Fulton, Tenn.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Meade; a daughter, Rose Harper; and a sister. Her parents were Martin D. Duncan and Ida Burrus Duncan.

Friends may call at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton after 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013.
