CRESTWOOD — Lunelle (Holmes) Guthrie Nickell, 94, of Crestwood died Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Norton-Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville.
She was a graduate of Murray State University with a master of science, and she taught business at Ballard Memorial High School until her retirement. She was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church in Paducah.
She is survived by one son, Mike Guthrie of Crestwood, and one sister, Flora Lee Hawkins of Benton.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Steele G. Guthrie, and her second husband, Reginald Nickell. Her parents were Roscoe C. Holmes and Willie Mae (Waller) Holmes.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Collier Funeral Home in Benton. Interment will be in Marshall County Memory Gardens. Friends may call after noon Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at the funeral home.
