EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Louise Boren Tiffey, age 88, of Evansville, formerly of Tiline, Ky., passed away Monday, July 8, 2013, at the Westpark Rehabilitation Center.
Louise was a homemaker and had attended Independence Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Hatcher of Chandler, Ind., and Teresa (Terry) Bowden of Evansville; three sons, Robert Lynn (Becky) Boren and William Sherman Boren, both of Evansville, and Mark Anthony (Vickie) Boren of Alabama; a daughter-in-law, Sarah Boren of Boonville; grandchildren, Randy Stearns, Kevin Wayne Holder, Lisa Holder, Bruce Boren, Tammy Boren, William Boren Jr., Kara Roblaro, Christopher Boren, Andrew Boren, Michael Boren, Jason Boren, Mary Phillips and Richard Boren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Louise was preceded in death by her first husband George Russell Boren in 1979; by her second husband, Sherman Tiffey; a son, James Michael Boren; two sisters, Gertrude and Ruth; a grandson, Allen Stearns; son-in-law, Earl Hatcher; and daughter-in-law, Karen Boren.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Pierre Funeral Home with Pastor Gerald Arnold officiating. Burial will take place in Cothran Cemetery in Smithland, Ky.
Friends may visit with the family from 3 p.m. until service time on Thursday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
