Louis Edward Klein, 80, of Paducah, passed away at 6:15 p.m. on Sunday, December 2, 2012, at Lourdes hospital.

Louis was a graduate of St. Mary Academy, a member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, he was a retired Field Base Administrator for Grumman Aerospace Corporation where he worked for 35 years, a member of Knights of Columbus and a U.S. Navy Veteran.

Louis is survived by his wife, Madge Hodge Klein; two sons, Michael Ray Klein of Paducah, Ky., and David Lynn Klein of San Diego, Calif.; one granddaughter, Jasmine Rai-ann Blades of Seattle, Wash.; one great-granddaughter, Sunny Lee Blades of Seattle, Wash.; a nephew, Tony Murt and his wife Wendy of Paducah, Ky.; three great nieces, Lindsey, Gracie and Ashby Murt all of Paducah, Ky.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Grace Murt. His parents were Louis Joseph Klein and Grace Johanna Bittke Klein.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2012, at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church with Rev. Brian Roby officiating. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

The Klein family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Prayers will be said at 7:30 p.m.
